Seniorhome worked with a 30 year mature non-profit, funded care facility to transition from its tired, original building into a $35M new facility.  Our mandate included:

• Advising management and Board in real estate development and municipal land use issues, including purchase of expansion lands;
• Articulating and coordinating several responses to Health Authority Requests for Proposals;
• Sourcing and negotiating with a development partner and Construction Manager;
• Negotiating with Health Authority for terms of redevelopment and long term funding of operations;
• Projecting development/construction and long term operations budgets
• Planning for staffing transition to a new facility; and
• Planning for re-use or sale of old facility.
